Rebound: Rebound damping controls the rate at which the shock is able to extend after the compression stroke. The shock absorber will need to extend after the wheels have been compressed (it happens, for example, when cornering the inner wheels while the car is tilting, braking the rear wheels or accelerating the front wheels). The low numbers make the damping soft, allowing the spring to extend quickly with low resistance. The high numbers stiffen the damping and resist spring extension.Fast bump: corresponds to the fast compression of the spring. It occurs on bumps, holes and curbs of the circuit and changes the speed with which the spring compresses under these circumstances. Again the low numbers make the damping softer and the higher ones make it stiffer.Bump: Controls how quickly the spring compresses and controls how the wheel moves upward. Soft damping (0) allows the spring to compress quickly the rigid damping (10) resists the compression of the shock absorber making it more rigid.

There are a few reasons why you will need to change the configuration of your car when driving. The main reasons are listed below: When should I change the car configuration?
